My mum has always said it's bad to put cans in the fridge, recently I was at a friend's house and they had cans in their fridge, when I questioned said cans, he was like wtf no cans are fine in the fridge. Who is right?
If the cans are unopened you can store it in the fridge, but storing it in the fridge is unnecessary unless you want the contents to be cold. If food is opened, however, you should transfer the food out of the can. It's not a good idea to leave the food in an open can.
However, doing it anyways won't kill you, my family does it too, and none of us are dead, but then again, the cans don't stay in the fridge for long due to the fact I live with a lot of family, so things go fast.
You shouldn't put open cans of food in the refrigerator. An open can allows air to come in contact with the metal of the can. This can allow the metal to seep into the food, contaminating it.
No, I mean tin cans like an opened can of spaghetti or something.
is this a serious question? soda cans go into the fridge?!?!?!
But don't put them in the freezer because they might explode
Of course. I do all the time.
Only if they're not opened.
well OBVIOUSLY
