How much would a personal tutor cost?

I am a personal tutor and I ask for $5 a day, but the parents of the kid I work with also give me $1 per ‘A’ he gets and $10 for each ‘A’ on his report card… but I’m extremely cheap so most ppl do $15 a day, but most tutors I know charge by the ‘A’s the kid gets…. its a good way to make money so it all depends on the person. Adult tutors that do this for a living, can cost up to $50!

I think that it would depend on how long you want the tutor and also in what you want him or her to tutor you, The best thing to do, is to call several tutors that you find, see your options and get the better one.

For Spanish tutoring I charge from $4 to $6 per hour…

yuhp :) but it all depends on the area, wht the parents are willing to pay, your self, and your grade point average is something most ppl are want to see b4 getting tutored.

well a tutor we called asked for $200 a week!!! so they can get pretty high.

A personal tutor decides how much they want, and it’s up to you if you want to find a better deal or stay with the one.
