Why do people tend to talk/to be listened than to listen?

People feel more empowered and powerful when they are at the attention of others. Its very hard for people to listen. It takes a great, empathetic, sincere, carismatic person to be able to really listen to people and really hear what people have to say. These type of people end up being good “Friends.”

I’m not sure, I guess that’s just how people are… I guess I’ve always been a good listener but especially after I moved here and became a loner. You can gain quite a bit of info including good stories and such if you listen instead just talk talk talk…
