Can your parents call the school and make sure you're in a certain class?

I’m going into grade 8 but the problem is that there is a 7/8 class and a 8 class. I freaking hate the seventh graders sooo much. And I know I’ll do worse in that class because I’ll be constantly angry lol. I won’t be able to focus. So is it possible my parents can call the school and make sure I’m in the grade 8 class and not the 7/8 class ?

Sure, Tell them to talk to your counselor. Tell them that it will distract you from learning.

I feel like it’s not likely they’ll let you switch for that reason. It’s kind of a bratty reason, really.

But if I can’t focus ? That’s bratty ? Yes , I agree with that I hate them. But that I can’t focus. Whatever lol.

It may be different in your school. But when I was at school, if you wanted to switch then you had to have a good reason for wanting it. Like being bullied or something. I mean I did not like a lot of people in my classes, but well I just got on with it, their not going to stop me from learning.
