Ovarian Cancer

I am dating a 16 year old girl for a year at the end of this week. I am 17 She was my best friend for 5 years before we started dating. Her last period she was experiencing terrible cramps and was nauseous. She has had polycystic ovarian disease. She is the world to me and I am so scared that she might have ovarian cancer. She says that this is just part of being a teen and she doesn’t not have ovarian cancer. We promised to remain clean sexually until marriage. Her heart is set on being a mom when the time is right and when financially stable. I just want her to be healthy and happy. Is she okay. I am sooo scared. Please any advice will help me.

convince her to go to the doctor if she hasnt. you guys shuld stay sexually pure for long time till everything clears out.

The best thing you can do is relax and don’t freak out. Ovarian cysts are not harmful, although they can be painful. They also come and go.

Just be understanding.

Ovarian cysts are very common. My sister gets them pretty badly every month and I’ve also get small ones.
