How to fix Orange roots?

I recolored my hair blonde and now I have orange roots. Is there anything I can buy to fix this problem.

How did you recolor your hair? With a box of dye or bleach? A box color, does not allow your hair to process the appropriate time. Its simply not strong enough to take your hair the to the right shade. Its stops working after a period of time. Bleach however, will take your hair past the orange stage, however- it can be rough on your hair.

Go to a local beauty supply and ask for a toner. There a few toners that you can put on your hair that will take out the orange. Try using a toner that has a “ash” in it.

Also there is a shampoo called ‘Shimmer Lights’ aka the “purple shampoo.” It takes out brassy colors in hair if used twice a week. If you ask about the “purple” shampoo at the beauty supply, they will know what you are talking about! Good Luck!

You can get root touch up products, use that. The reason why they turned orange is because you didn’t leave it on your roots long enough or the heat escaped. When you dye your hair you need to put a plastic bag over your hair and clip is so the heat stays in.
