My roommate's mom has pancreatic cancer

It’s spread beyond the pancreas, so prognosis is not good, she’s probably going to die… I dont know what to say to her…

Wow I wouldn’t know either, but I think actions speak louder than words here. Just being there for your roommate and her mom and visiting her mom every day will help tremendously in emotional support..

O-M-G. My daddy died from Pancreatic cancer. It is one of the worst types of cancer you can get. But don’t freak out just yet. Things are better now than when I was 2 years old and my dad died of it. Just look at Patrick Swayze (Dirty Dancing, Roadhouse), he has pancreatic cancer and he seems to be in remission and is even working on some new projects. So take heart, do some serious praying, and be there for your friend in every way you can think of. Good luck to you and your friend.
