Mile Run in Gym!

I’m doing the mile run and I think I have asthma because I’ve been breathing heavy a lott lately. howw can I get prepared for the runn in school?? any advice on how to run better??

you want to stop drinking soda… and especially don’t drink soda on the day you’re supposed to run. the extra carbon dioxide restricts the oxygen flow to your muscles.

you should start walking a mile daily, and try to improve your time each day. It gets easier and easier…

I’m seriously out of shape and I can do a 15 minute mile easily. I used to be able to do the 8 minute mile, and that was just because I tried my best in gym…

some foods are said to help asthma… try to find out what they are and eat more of them.

Exactly what mode said. I started jogging, then went faster gradually. I can now sprint a mile. Best mile I’ve ever gotten was a 4 min 58 second.

wow , just one mile run?… we had to run a mile EVERY SINGLE DAY in gym when I was in 7th & 8th grade. Your lucky, but yeah I got short of breath fast and always got the cramps in my side. sucked, hated it more than ANYTHING but I got thru it. Go to the DR. and see whats going on.
