apparently facebook saves all information for up to 7 years for legal purposes, does funadvice have a system like that too?
The information given on FunAdvice is quite a bit less comprehensive than Facebook. We ask for a name (and for most - it's not even their real name), email address, and date of birth. Everything else is optional. IP addresses could be stored, but many are dynamic and change regularly. The information gathered is stored in a database, but accessing it isn't a quick task. The database includes all questions asked and answered from the time FA launched in 2003.
Does it include all updates and comments on them too?
