Actually, my theater teacher is pretty old, I'd say about high 60s. He said he used to have a long beard and hair, but he got it cut, and shaved for his daughter's wedding. Ever since then, it hasn't grown much. I'm not sure if this is typical, but in some cases it won't grow back when you're older.
No. hair doesn't stop growing, and as you get older, it will grow faster and thicker. :) Until you die, your body will keep growing that hair.
It's just like any other hair. Once you shave it, it will grow back eventually
