Why is making your bed so important, if your just giong to mess it up again in 8 hours?

it really is! my mom just bitch flipped on me because i went to my friends house, said my room was clean (it was) but my bed wasnt made! call in the SWAT!

My personal opinion? It almost makes your room look clean if the bed is made….

I hate an unorganized bed anyway…having your feet stick out from under the sheet, or getting tangled up in blankets…

Course, do you vacumn when it’s just going to get dirty again…dust? Wash your clothes, when they’re just going to get messed up again? How bout washing dishes…what colossial waste of time…get the big chunks off, and let the rest dry….you’ll be using it again, soon enough… :)

I agree, i hate a messy bed, and i have hardwood flooring in my house so i just switch on the little vacuum robot and then go do the laundry, yes this man does housework, and dishes you say, i use paper plates. what about your car? i like a clean car because i dont want my passengers getting their clothes dirty from a greasy door. maybe thats because i’m a guy.

cus it makes your home/room look trampy… 8 hours? most ppl are awake for 16.

i never make my bed unless we’re having family or important company over. if it’s just family and friends then who really cares? no one here presses it

So dirt and stuff doesn’t get in the sheets. It’s especially important if you have allergies or something like me

Haha good point but you know those are all washing and hygine things while blankets just look a bit nicer when made. But sometime s if i want my room to look clean i make my bed.

Well I have ROTC camp in a couple days and you have room inspections so I do it to practice my hospital corners

Ikr!!! But I still make up my bed because it makes my room look cleaner.Plus my mommy would be mad if I didn’t…….she kept tell’n me how lucky I am. B/c SHE!!!! said when her and her 9 sisters and 1 bother where growing up they couldn’t leave the house till their bed was made up.And if they did they got whoop’ns…..-_- really mom? Really

OOOO your in ROTC!!! Cool im going to the 9th grade and I signed up for it,so i’ll be doing ROTC instead of P.E. But I to pretty much fight my mom and dad to let me do it. They think i’ll want to go into the Army instead of going to Collage(well thats my dad reason) But My mom is one of those women who act like they can’t do stuff that a man can do.And she didn’t want to join because she thoght that it was unlady like and too manly.Which I thought was bulls**t.But anyway when you firsted joined what was it like?

ROTC is legit and the camp was cool. And they dont try to recruit you or anything pretty much the whole point is to get you to go to college and they have tons of scholarships through rotc. plus you get to know people and get leadership skills. After my first year i was already a drill commander and i was on staff at the camp i just went to with a bunch of officers. Its not that manly granted there are going to be quite a few weird people but there are a lot of girly girls in it. and at my school you can get a varsity letter for it which i have. im in air force rotc what are you going into. its fun the P T you do is easy its just like regular P E. and you go on fieldtrips. did you sign up for the zero hour or just the regular class?
