is there actually a visible beam that appears from a laser?

ok wrong question… is there actually a visible beam that appears from a laser? or is it only in like a mist or something? thanks

Answer #1

Right. It takes mist, fog, or smoke/dust to partially scatter the laser beam, but then a reg. flashlight beam also doesn’t show much without something similar. Take care and Good Luck!!

Answer #2

laser beams only show up in mists- they are invisible until they hit an object, and then you can see a dot. we don’t have the technology yet to make a visible beam like in the movies.

the only thing that comes close is a plasma beam- and that has only been accomplished in the laboratory with an immense power supply.
