What kind of internet connection do you have?

What speed do you have, and is it fiber, cable or what?

Answer #1

I go through my cellphone company. Bought a laptop from there and use verizon network.

Answer #2

I have it through my phone which is google network and my laptop is at@t

Answer #3

I get my internet through Bell, I had high speed internet which comes through the phone and was very fast and reliable. Sadly, since I moved to the country I can no longer get high speed so am stuck in dial up hell. It is also through Bell and through the phone lines (the phone lines here are too old to support high speed) Dial up sucks hugely, its incredibly slow and drops its connection constantly. : (

Answer #4

I have fiberoptic net @ 1GB / sec speed. I actually don’t think there is any dial up net in Norway anymore. High speed lines cost almost nothing, and are available all over. In the cities there’s wi-fi hotspots free of charge almost everywhere, and now there’s also free internet on the trains.

Answer #5

We have dial up through At&T. It’s so cool, even our new computer is slow! And if my brother’s on X-Box Live, no one else can get online! Actually, it’s best if only one person is online at a time with dial up, otherwise it’s overload! It’s super convenient when your computer freezes all the time! Seriously, it’s terrible.

Answer #6

That sux,,

Answer #7

We have both Broadband, and Wireless. I don’t use wireless much as it’s just too expensive and, altho’ Broadband is reasonably fast (down the copper telephone wires) it’s sometimes painfully slow–a very large file can take hours to download! Am eagerly waiting upon the super-fast National Broadbnd Network, altho’ that too will be expensive.

Answer #8

German Telekom DSL broadband connection with copper cable. Comes in via the phone line. And a wireless LAN in my house so I can sit on the sofa with my laptop.

Answer #9

I have a friend in Adelaide, Australia, and he’s constantly complaining about the connections wheree he lives :) But as with the US, your country is huge, and I guess the good connections comes to the big blaces first :)

Answer #10
