Avoid soft drinks (carbonated). Eat slowly and chew food properly before swallowing. Always eat with your mouth closed. Avoid chewing gum. And make sure you are hydrated. Sip water, don't gulp. Swallowing without liquid can mean swallowing air, which makes you burp. Burping isn't bad, but it can be embarrassing. And notice what you eat and see if you can make a connection with something you eat and then burping after that.
Well it's normal to burp, everyone does it, and it happens when it happens, it happens randomly. But you can try to stay away from things that cause gas, like soda, bread, and junk food and stuff like that. But still with anathing you eat or drink, you will have to burp at some poiint.
