Is this the Depo Shot?

Okay I’m on the depo shop I had my first one a little over a month ago. Before my depo shot I was forced to have an abortion. I am havig my first period since I stopped bleeding from that big “thing”. My doctor told me that the shot would make my periods irregular, lighter, and even stop later on. Well I started on 1/18 now its 1/31 and I still have yet to stop THATS 13 DAYS!!! Is this normal?

Umm you can go see your doc and ask him or her if its normal??/ But I have been on the depo for almost one year but got off of it cause it is unhealthy if your on it for a very long time… But my when I was on my shot I never got my period… I think just cause your starting the depo it might be your cycle getting used to what is going to be happening how your periods are gunna be lighter or not even there. But if it dont stop soon I would call the doctor and see whats happening. good luck!
