Is there a morning after shot for dogs?

My Yorkie mated with a dog last night that got in our yard. Is there a morning after shot to give her and if so what is it called. Are there side affects?

If you are not planning on breeding her, then I would set up a spay asap with your vet.

There is an injection you can give after the event, you need to go to the vet as soon as possible. The injection can be given a few days or more after the mating but the earlier you inject your dog the better. You will need to be very careful in future not to take her out when she is in season as it is not healthy to give these injections all the time. Getting her spayed is the healthier option but not till she is a bit older, your vet will advise you.
