Is pregnancy possible??

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and he came inside me. I been on birth control now for 2 months and we had intercourse during my placebo week. Last week of my pills, I was late about 9 hours and I doubled up, taking that pill plus the other one at regular time. Other then that, I’m usually very consistant with taking my pills. Well anyways, the day AFTER I had sex with my boyfriend I got withdrawal bleeding. It started out very light then gotten heavier and heavier as the days went by. I had cramps and discharge as well. It lasted about 5 days and it went away. Now could I possibly be pregnant if I got withdrawal bleeding ONE DAY after I had sex and was on birth control?

Answer #1

Very unlikely. And if by “Last week of my pills…” you mean the placebo pill week, then almost impossible as you don’t even HAVE to take the placebo pills - they are there to keep you on the daily habit of one pill every day. This is, of course, if you have taken the rest of your pills correctly Good Luck!!

NOTE: there is one bit of information that gals often miss with BC pills. And that is the fact that if you begin taking ANTIBIOTICS, that can decrease the effectiveness of BC pills, and you might want to take additional precautions while on the antibiotics. Ask your doctor.

…YES… its possible, however unlikely… it doesn’t matter what forms of contraception you use, there is ALWAYS a chance.

Somebody obviously didn’t read the question correctly…

Answer #4

if you were pregnant you wouldnt know after 2 weeks of being ejaculated in. and taking birth control or doubling up if you are pregnant isnt going to do anything. its not going to get rid of the baby. once your pregnant your pregnant. if you dont like these freak outs use a condom
