I remember reading this article in a magazine...
A ‘Bra and breast cancer Study’ conducted in the United States, had revealed a significant link between bras and breast cancer that is three times greater than the link between cigarette smoking and lung cancer.
Their study also revealed that wearing a bra over 12 hours daily conferred a 113 fold increase in breast cancer incidence.
Because of the pressure bras apply to the breast, the lymphatic system is also affected. The lymphatic system consists of tiny, thin-walled vessels, which drain away toxins, cell debris, pathogens like bacteria, viruses and even cancer cells from the breast tissue. And since these vessels have no internal pressureby themselves, they are easily compressed by external pressure, for instance a bra, for instance causing congestion of the tissues. Therefore a tight bra would close the lymphatic pathway from the breast to the lymphatic nodes, causing fluid build-up, swelling, tenderness and cyst formation.
And I remember from when I was in college that Lymph nodes filter the lymphatic fluid and store special cells that can trap cancer cells or bacteria that are traveling through the body in the lymph fluid. So if you wear a bra to bed you may be restricting your lymph nodes in your breasts from filtering out all of the toxins and possible cancer cells that need to be filtered. So I would say its best to not wear your bra to bed.
Well, I've asked this question before and some said it cuts off yur heart circulation of you wear an UNDERWIRE bra to sleep. Normal bras are fine. I stopped wearing a bra to sleep now, and it feels really comfy. Haha, makes me feel sexier! Haha.;)
no, it could cause you to get deep marks (similar to wrinkles, only deeper) on that area of the skin. circulation could be cut off, too. you shouldn't even wear a sportsbra to sleep in; those are just as bad.
It's a good idea not to sleep with a bra on because it can interfere with good circulation and easy breathing. It's also not comfortablle AT ALL.
yea people say you can get cancer from wearing bra's to bed every nite .. but I still wear 1 to bed everynite anyway :L

the womens breast should always rest from those tight things,,thats why now I dont sleep with any bra.. and im only 16!!..

wlite, that old study has also been debunked as false. Look at the answer posted in the link I provided above.
you can get skin break down...which can be sore and when your old can cause ulcers or skin tears
I personally think that its better to sleep with a sports bra on then a bra with the wire.
Your skin can get really messed up Plus it ruins some bras
yupp. It's very uncomfortable too.
