Who invented the concept of lying?

or maybe it got invented when politics got invented. There is no way to know for sure

I think fear led to the invention of lying. Someone did not want to get in trouble for somethig they did, and they lied to get out of punishment. This same mentality is what drives many people to lie today, along with the idea of lying to steal, cheat, or commit other wrongdoings.
