when in a vehicle, how do you turn the headlights off? Please explain
Often your turn signal has all the head light controls included. If so... The end of the turn signal twists to turn the headlights on and off (with a middle position for parking lights only) And for high beams, push the turn signal diagonally away from you and downward (about 1 pound of pressure) to keep them on high beam, then a reverse pull to put them back onto low beams. (From the low beam position pull the turn signal diagonally towards you and up and the high beam will come on until you let go.)
Older American cars (60s and earlier) have a knob on the dashboard to the left of the steering column that you pull out to turn the lights on, and twist to switch back and forth from high to low.
Hope this helped.
either switch the lever all the way down, or turn off the car
Look in your owner's manual. It should be in the glove box.
switch the lever...
