How to solve polynomials?

How do you solve an polynomial with an exponient? Likeee…

(l2-5l-6)+ (2l2+5+l) ?

Answer #1

I am guessing that supposed to be (L^2-5L-6) + (2L^2+5+L)??

So you have (change the order a bit, but they that’s allowed for addition)

L^2 -5L -6 2L^2 +L +5 +— 3L^2 -4L -1

Just combine like terms.

Answer #2

ohhh ! thanksss . that helped .

Answer #3

3L(to the second) - 6L - 1
