change in attitude , dressing different , want to do different things , telling lies , Brest hurting all the time always grumpy , snap at everything for no reason meeting ,everybody no matter who it is and all this is freaking me out I want to know what signs or what to pick up on to tell me that she is ?
I am 19 and remember being like that with my mum, What do you mean by how do you know if your daughter is? Do you usually have a good relationship with her? if so then try to catch her when shes in a good mood and sit and talk to her about it ask her whats going on and see if you can get some leaflets about going up puberty atc, and try and talk to her I think that way she will appreciate it more even though you may get the brush off. Talk to her about contraception having sex about waiting etc. it is normal for any parent to have problems with there childrens its just all part of growing up. She will also want her own space to grow up. as long as you talk to her and be open with her you have got more of a chance of her being open with you! also whatever she says to you whether you agree or not keep your calm tell her how your feel but also try to understand her point of view even though she is your daughter. if you would like to talk more then message me. Well 1 do you remember what its like to be a teenaged/preteen girl?...its hard I mean all of these new feelings and you don't know why and then theres boys and all of that crap!...and you should give her space but still let her know that your always there for her no matter what happens and I think she is just growing up and you need to be there for her along the way and if you don't feel comfortable talking to her about some things then get a book for her to read send her an email of a link to a site that will help her. And let her know that you will always love her no matter what if she comes home pregnant then you should be there for her sure you'll be mad but not that mad.
It doesnt sound like drugs, if thats what you mean. To me what it sounds like is healthy teenage development. It is a time in life when your torn between carefree barefoot summers by the lake, and finding the perfect lipstick to go with your new skirt. Really everyone is different, but everyone goes through a time in life when they are trying to figure out their purpose, and figure out who they are and how they fit in to society. It is often frustrating, and always overwhelming, so if she seems a bit snappy, its probably because she feels like she doesnt need anymore on her plate, and she also has no idea that you have probably been there to. I know a few people on here have said that sounds like puberty but that is not what it sounds like to me. I have had my daughter and a few of my friends daughters go thru puberty and that is not how it was for them or for me or my friends growing up. It actually sounds like like what one of my nieces is going through currently, she is currently sexually active and doing some bad things right now. I could be wrong but it doesn't sound like your very close to your daughter but the best thing would be to sit down with her and try to talk to her, that really is the only way your gonna find out what is truly going on with her. ya thats like the definition with me and my parents. we cant help it, sum people can be worst then others. shes just growing up. if she seems in that ruff kind of mood just stay away from her and give her space. if you ask her wats wrong when shes in that mood, she'll probably snap at u. cause her tolerance level will be super low
