how many of you believe that age is justa a number?

how many of you believe that age is justa a number? like when referring to love an dif you love someone age shouldnt matter right cause I always agreed with that statement?

Age is just a stupid number that the government has given us to group us into different categories.

Everybody matures and grows at different paces, but we’re stuck with this supid number by our side.

And when it comes to love, I definitely agree that if your feelings are true within each other, then it’s okay.

BUT if it’s a big gap, as in like an 18-year old and a 15-year old, then I’d probably be worried. Once you become an adult though, it’s different.

Like w/ the 15 yr. old and the 18 yr. old. When you’re 15 years old, man you’re still just a baby ! You have years and years to get into a serious relationship.

But say you’re like 16 years old, and your boyfriend/girlfriend is 19 years old. In my opinion that is definitely not as bad as the 15yr old and the 18 yr old. Though it is the same distance between each other, going from 15 to 16 is big! When you’re 15, you’re in the younger years of being a teenager. When you hit 16, BAM you start to get into the higher areas of a teenager!

To me age is only a number if both of the persons involved in the relationship is adults. I.e. (in my opinion) above the age of 18.

What if it’s between a 30 yr. old guy and a 16 yr. old girl? Would that be disgusting?

But how about if it’s a 30 yr. old guy who’s respectful of women and an 18 yr. old girl? Would that still be an issue with you all?

I have this cousin who’s falling for a girl with those ages respectively - but the girl says how wonderful the guy is in spite of his age and looks. She is willing to wait for the guy until she comes of age - and when that time comes, she doesn’t care if the guy proposes to her - she’s willing to say “yes” to him no matter what…

I agree that age is something irrelevant. If the relationship is mutually good for the couple concerned, society’s rules and the government’s laws do not matter…

I believe age shouldn’t really matter but we have laws against age difference. And we have to follow them. I know it sucks.

I agree with it..it mite be because my boyfriend is 6yrs older than me we get along preaty well we have a lot of the same interests and theres nothing wrong with it..people say that it doesnt work bt it does..I have a teacher who is like 18 years younger than her husband and they are 1 of the happiest couples I have ever met…my parents were worried that he mite pressure me into doing things bt he respects me and loves me like crazy..anyway thats my 2cents=)
