How do you peirce your belly button?

Answer #1

You shouldn’t pierce it yourself but if you are going to you are, so whatever. If you plan on not having a belly button that reaches from here to nantucky then I suggest you find yourself a clean, unused, as in still in the little sealed packaging, medical needle. These are hollow and very sharp and designed for your skin. “Why does it matter if it’s hollow?” Because if you have a non-hollow needle, take for instance a sewing needle (uck!) you pierce it through the skin and there is now a hole in that spot, obviously. What about the skin and fleshy matter that used to be in that spot? It just gets squeezed over and bunched up causing knots to form and mucho friction with the object placed in the hole. Not to mention that all that skin is going to go right back to where it was before making it near impossible to put anything in it. Figure out where you want to put the needle, mark it, on both sides. Ask a friend if it looks as if it will be straight. Put ice on it for a few minutes, not only for pain but for less blood if you’re a bleeder. Clean it (the needle, the thing you plan to put in, the area you are piercing) with rubbing alcohol. Have whatever you’re putting in ready. Pierce through one hole to the next while laying flat. Put one end of whatever you putting in it in the hollow of the needle. Pull the needle back through while keeping the end of the thingit in the hollow. Pull the needle off and wahbam. Go to a place though so you don’t screw it up and end up with a huge scar and a nasty smelly infection.

I dont think that’s something you should pierce yourself, a professional will know what their doing and make sure everything is prpperly sterilized. Also they will be able to advise you on how to keep it clean.
