How do I keep my hydranga from falling due to weight of flower?

I have been told that adding amonia to soil will stunt growth of hydranga. Mine grow too big, the flowers are too heavy for the stem and the stem collapses. How do I remedy this?

Get some of that flower Velcro stuff it’s green and get a stick. Tie or velcro the stem to the popsical stick or branch off the ground and string may work but if it’s to tigh the string can break or damage the string so velcros the best if you. Can get some
