How do I connect my notebook to my tv?

I have got a pc setting on my tv and cannot connect my note book to it using rgb lead.please could any one help.

Most computers do not use component video cables. Heck, many TVs don’t even use component video anymore. It’s a technology that is being phased out. You’re probably going to need an S-video or HDMI cable.

what connections do you have on your telly?

your notebook will have a vga connector so youll need a vga cable from your notebook to your telly..

if your telly dont have a vga connector you will need a ‘vga to XXX’ connector to get it to work.
