What you need is software normally called DVD ripper. They can rip content of DVDs out to your computer. I prefer to use Aimersoft DVD Ripper which can help you rip DVD with 1:1 quality and easily rip DVDs to most of popular formats like AVI, MPEG, WMV, 3GP, MP4, etc. It’s very easy to use. You can find it on: http://www.aimersoft.com/dvd-ripper.html.

I commend you two top softwares. The first one is theVideo to Blu-ray Burner. It is easy to use and powerful for experts as well. It enables you to convert and burn any video file directly to Blu-ray. Pro version included all the features of the lite version. In addition, it has embedded “DVD Author Express” and “Blu-ray Burner Engine”. So it becomes an all-in-one Blu-ray Burner . And it has been optimized for 64 bit CPU. You can get it from the following link: [link removed] The second is Cucusoft Video to DVD Converter (DVD Burner) . The link is: [link removed].
