How can you tell if your nose is infected?

I just got my nose pierced about 4 months ago,Now I have a small bump around the whole and puss comes out and its a lil red.Is it infected?

Pus = infection

Get out the peroxide and clean it several times a day…don’t remove the piercing, or the hole will close up and the pus won’t be able to drain properly.
