How can my parents see what sites I have been to on the computer?

Even on iPod touches. (please include in answer) because this is from my iPod touch.

Answer #1

well they can go into browsing history. you can get rid of it by going into tools, delete browsing history. and you can press the sort of dial with a green arrow reversed click it and just delete what you dont want them to see. I thoink there is another way but I dont know what it is yet

Answer #2

It’s the little book on the iPod, you tap that then “history” then clear. On the computer you click on “tools” then “clear private history” or something like that. I hope this helped! And If it didn’t then I sincerely appologize!

Answer #8

I’m actually answering this question without any respect to the age of the readers of this posting - okay, one of the few times that I do so.

Just selecting to delete or clear a browsing history just isn’t going to get it done people!!!!!

If you have a computer that’s 32-bit and not Windows 7, you might want to try out Webroot Window Washer, and set the all available options to Guttman. If you happen to have Windows 7 or a 64-bit computer, I would use Mil Shield, - again, with Guttman.

Answer #9

Something else - if one wishes to not have others view their particular areas of “interest”, it might be advisable to perhaps destroy the Index.dat file, along with generally not only running the Guttman, but even destroying/shredding files. Also, as an extra layer of protection, there’s also doing the Free Space Washing, too (if you have Webroot Window Washer) - it might seem a bit paranoid, but that combination should take care of quite a few undesired files, histories, etc.
