Do you feel its appropriate for parents to post naked or almost naked pictures of their babies on their social networking sites?

I, personally would never post a naked picture of my son online, not even just his booty. I just feel there are too many pervs in the world and also naked baby pictures are personal and not something that should be online. I have friends that post pictures of their children nude in the bath or with their bottoms showing and it shocks me…am i the only one who feels its innapropriate?

Answer #1

I like baby bath pictures, but those go into a photo album, I wouldn’t post it anywhere online

Answer #2

I believe if the child is under 12 months….it’s fine. That is how they came out, and well many people like posting delivery pictures, bathing pictures, etc…I really don’t think pervs look at children under 1 years old like that.

However, a picture of child that is say 2 or 3 should not be posted online in the nude. I think it’s fine if they are in a diaper, but not completely nude.

Answer #3

not at all. its just a baby, their…privates dont matter to people when they are just kids. its just cute to see babies :)

Answer #4

I think it’s somewhat inappropriate. I do agree that people love baby pictures and all, but there’s also a hidden line.

Posting nude/partial-nude baby pictures of a child is the same as posting a picture of someone else without their permission. I’m sure, that baby doesn’t want to grow up knowing his butt was shown on sites like Tumblr and MySpace when he was little.

I’m not saying it’s a bad thing to post nude pictures of babies, because as everyone said “It’s just a baby”. Although it is a baby, I’d still be cautious about posting anything without a shirt because after that, it feels like weird child po*nography to some people (not me).

Just my two cents.

I guess you guys have not heard about the the parents that went to Wal-Mart to get some pictures developed. Well some pictures had their under 5 year old children in the bathtub. Wa-Mart called told the cops and the police showed up at their house and the children were taken away. They spent 75,000 in lawyers to try to get their kids back and now they are registered sex offenders. We are so uptight here in the US. http://funadvice.com/r/3kqe0hol5n

i also find them innanproriate, especailly with how many sick people there are out there. though even without thinking about them, there children, sure there bodies arnt fully devloped yet, but there private parts are a different story, you can see them. i just dont think its appropriate at all to have pictures of your childrens private areas for everyone to see, they should be kept private. if i had children i would never make pictures like those public

Answer #9

I wouldn’t let a stranger change my baby’s diaper for the same reason I wouldn’t post their nude photos online - there are things people simply don’t need to see. Why is it even necessary to show an infant’s genitals? What purpose does that ever serve?

Answer #10

i just think they should at least be wearing a diaper or shorts or something. other than that, no problem with it

Answer #11

I dont think the photos themselves are inappropriate, but I do think its inappropriate to post them online where you have limited control over who can view them. There are a lot of creepy people in the world

Answer #12

Unfortunately, there’s a lot of weird, sick, pervs out there. Think about it this way, if you want your pic out there for people to wank over, that’s fine. But, do you want some sicko living out of his mommy’s basement to be wanking over pics of your baby??? Some people are just incredibly sick.

Also, there are different areas of the country that are VERY VERY BACKWARDS, I mean really backwards, in which a friend whom you might want to get to see the baby might end up going to ja1l for possession of child p0rno, under their local laws.

Under some jurisdictions, the law indicates that if there are a total of 5 different images, then a person can be arrested. In some really backwards places (Okay, I’ve heard that in Texas), that if only a single image is on a computer, that this is enough to have a person arrested.

Most of the backwards laws seem to be where there’s an abnormally high concentration of gentiles who happen to be hypocritical-seeming ZEALOTS.
