How can I put in a tampon without it hurting me when im sitting?

Okay I have had my period since I was 9 years old. I am now 13 and I am trying tampons. When ever I put it in its comfortable at first. Then when I walk or even sit down it hurts. Can anyone tell me how to put it in correctly? Its always bothering me. Any advice?

I dont like the look of tampons they look like they will hurt I will try them one day but for now good luck with putting it in try buying a new box and reading the box

Answer #2

You are best to buy the tampons with the ‘applicators’ (tampax compact) therefore you just read the instructions and can then be sure you are putting it in far enough… youll know what I mean if you buy them ~LOL :D

Answer #3

Yeah, just push it in further, if you feel about there is a bone there and it must just go past the bone because if it doesn’t then it will push into it and cause pain (: don’t be afraid of it getting stuck because as long and you can see the string you will be fine :)

Answer #4

this might sound a little gross but maybe you are not putting it in far enough. Make sure the string is only hanging out because tampons arent suppose to hurtt.

Answer #5

are your tampons applicator or non applicator?if they are non applicator you just push them in with your thumb and fore finger until your fingers reach your body… if it still hurts try pushing it in a little further. if it still hurts it is still not inserted correctly. when it inserted you shouldnt be able to feel it

hope I help
