How can I convince my parents to let me get a puppy?

iya I have always wanted to have my own puppy because when my older sisters were little they had loads and now I am 13 and I feel that I am responsible to being able to look after my own puppy but the problem is my mum is in a sort of saying yes but my dad is a definite no and he always says to me were not getting any more pets but I just need some advice because I got round him to letting me have terrapins but they are quite boring and I would love to be able to have my own pup another promlem is that we go on holiday and he says that it would cost to much to put it in the kennels but I sed I would pay for everything like that please cud you help me

irishsweetie1512 well I think that you should show your dad that you could take care of a puppy maybe you should get some info about puppies and show your dad that you could clean up after him you could also list some things he might like that a dog could help him with

Okay: Tell your dad that you will feed it and take care of it. Just tell him that you think your very responsible. Also just say “ Let me go about a week being responsible” and then will he let you get a puppy. That worked for me and my mom said that we weren’t getting anymore animals. Oh, and you can get your dog from a breeder, just make sure you have all of the papers with it’s shots and everything. Definatly not a pet store. LEt me know if you do get one.
