record yourself and send it to different record companys, what kind of music do you sing? because if its rock, then I would suggest Virgin Records or EyeBall Records, they are both really good, and always make there musicains famous. :]

There are loads of things. Get involved in maybe a local show that includes singing. There are bound to be talent scouts. Try a local karaoke night. Good luck!!
