My parents refused the guy I'm dating
hey so I’m dating this guy, & its a really intense relationship, & my parents toally refused him, & their excuse was his educational degree, & when he asked me whats wrong, over & over, I told hi, & now I feel like I hurt his feelings, although I said it in the nicest way ever, & I dont think I hurt him, but my friend totally said that if she was in his shoes, she’d be insulted, & I should have lied, what do you think?
he might feel f*cked up but its the truth you cant lie about it
He might be hurt but you should be glad you told him the truth and didn’t lie. Its much better in the long run and is a good base for a strong relationship.
he should appreciate that ur telling him the truth and that if would probably just get worse if u tried to hide it with ur parents or with him and if ur parents keep bugging u tell them to hire parental control
