Hand web piercing
I am thinking about getting a hand web piercing , can I still play guitar if I get it done between my finger and thumb of my left hand
If you love playing, you won’t do it. It could interfere. If playing is just a so-so thing, do whatever you want. Real musicians don’t mess with their required equipment. So do you love music, or modifying your body? Your choice. But think long term.
Well, you would always have the risk of it getting caught in one of the strings, or even on a fret and ripping it out. And you probably won’t be playing for a while. If I were you, I’d pick a better-suited piercing, but if that’s what you want, go for it.
if you play right handed it’ll be annoying and you’d probably have to wait a week or two before picking up a guitar again after you get the piercing, but it should be alright.
