Yes, its a very impractical piercing. It gets infected very easily and more often than other piercings since you use your hands alot and are constantly getting them dirty, it gets caught on things very easily since again, you use your hands all day, and it usually has to be removed within a few months because the body rejects it. Its not worth the pain or money.
Wow….People will literally pierce anything these days! That piercing sounds like an awful idea.

i like the way it looks. i know that there is a risk of infection. but that is less when you use the correct sanitization and use are bar instead of a ring. i’m very excited to get it i just want all the facts before i do get it.
