who knows if it is ok to give my dog a flee bath after giving birth?

Answer #1

i given my cat a flee bath after birth..my cat fur looks healthier and she looks relaxed instead of biting her skin till she bleeds..

Answer #2

i use baby shampoo to flea bath my cat and her hair looks great after it

Answer #3

I would think not, especially not with actual flea shampoo. Given that the babies are still suckling I assume? Call up your vet.

Answer #4

bah my whole post didnt add… i said baby shampoo should be ok to us but no the chemical flea stuff because she is giving milk to babies

Answer #5

If she is really flea infected I would say yes, but do not use anything with chemicals. Get a completely natural/organic flea shampoo or simply bath her in water and drown the fleas. You can also get a flea comb and comb them out.

Answer #6

Absolutely no flea treatment on a nursing dog. Get yourself some dawn dish soap and a flea comb.
