How do you gently tell your mom that you don't want her talking to your dad anymore?

because is messing up our lives and has since u and ur older brothers can remember.?

Answer #1

What do you mean? Can you elaborate why it is messing up your life.

Answer #2

You and your brother can get together to talk to her? Like sit down together with her,one day that your dad is not home or something and explain what your dad has been doing to mess things up for you guys. If you feel ok doing it, go ahead and have your dad in that conversation also, so maybe he knows what’s going on, and he might be able to fix it himself, once you guys tell him how you feel, his wrongs and stuff like that.

Answer #3

Ask her to talk, and then just tell her how you feel. When it comes to feelings, it’s much harder to put things ‘gently’, so it’s better to be upfront and direct about it. I am deeply sorry to hear that your dad is messing things up for you and your family, and I honestly wish I could help you, but the best thing you can do for now is maybe ask someone you trust their opinion on the matter. Hope this helps :)

Answer #4

‘messing up lives’ is a little dramatic and exaggerated. I suggest you use specific examples. However, good luck. If she has not stopped talking to him, you wanting her to stop is probably not going to get her to stop. But it may get her to consider things and do things differently.
