What are some fun things to do when you are babysitting your three year old sister?

Answer #1

Crafts are always fun, even if it’s something simple like Fruit Loop necklaces. You can build a fort for you to play in, or you could set up simple games (and let your sister win of course). TV gets boring quickly, but it is an option.

Coloring, Introduce her to the old disney movies like the little mermaid, make sock puppets or paper plate masks, easter egg hunt (you can use blocks or some other sort of toy), let her help you make cookies or some other sweet, play dress up with her, take her outside.

I remember when i was being babysat at that age and my favorite thing to do was always playing with playdough and out side games like hide and seek and red light green light.

well she is 3 years old so it’s kinda tough…too small to really understand…I would have to agree on the old Disney movies…and some crafts if you have those cute foam balls, some of the white Elmers glue and the googly eyes & some colorful pipe cleaners….

or if you have an empty shoe box you can wrap it with boring wrapping paper for both the background of the box & also the cover…& use all sorts of pasta’s to design the show box by gluing them on! Allow them to dry off & then spray paint them or use poster paint to paint them individually using a brush…just make sure you have a lot of old news papers before you begin so it doesnt get everywhere! When you are done, you can make all sorts of things & collect them in the shoe box. Like cute cards using colorful construction paper…cutting out all sorts of shapes & pasting them or taping them on to the construction paper also if you any old dried flowers like the ones that come in a bag for fresh linens & such…you can use a few of those on a card as well…use crayons to write with…

Another idea is just taking some plain white printer paper, and color, draw, cut or paste things…play house if she has barbie dolls or stuffed animals…

You can play dress up…do her hair…take a few pics…make a collage…

if all else fails take her out to the nearest park push her on the swings…on the slides & buy her an ice cream cone…make sure you get plenty of napkins & have a bottle of water on ya to wash off the mouth & hands…:P Also Do not forget to watch her with 10 eyes because little kids can vanish in a split second…so keep your phone off and when you are ready to leave turn it back on!

hope these were helpful…good luck!

Thanks, the necklaces were a great idea. My mom keeps buying Fruit loops and I think they taste weird and that got rid of them because my sister ate them all.
