What did you mean at the end when you said “ a short path to living a successful life”? Was it: If I force more discipline on myself then I will be more successful?

Basically, it means that you may struggle for a little while, but the end result will be worth it…and yes, if you discipline yourself, you can avoid doing the things that were causing you problems in the first place.
