How effective is yoga for weight loss?

Doing any type of yoga will build up strength, but most of them dont raise your heart rate enough to do all the work & make them your only source of exercise. It really depends on what type of yoga you’re focusing on & how often your practice it.

not as effective as gettin up at 6 every morning and running a few miles

in the past year i have lost 75 pounds from doing yoga 3 times a week, going for walks, and being a vegetarian
