Dry hands

Ok so I work at a pre-school and I am constantly having to wash my hands which is making them extremly dry. I try to put lotion on them but usually dont get to. What is some ways to keep your a hands moisterized and some good lotions. Thanks:

L’Ocitane and Body Shop both sell something called Body Butter. It comes in a variety of different scents and strengths, for dry, normal and oily skin. My wife uses it and loves it. The Shea Butter one is very nice, and does a real good job on dry, chapped hands. Have fun!

Good way to keep your hands mosturized. What I do is I mix some mosturizing cream with baby/bio oil and put it on my hands and then go to sleep with gloves on. It really helps to keep your hands in a great condition.

Aveeno makes an excellent lotion you can use and not wash away easily. It is not waterproof but withstands several washes. you can buy it most anywhere they sell lotion. And for a deep moisturizing I use the same thing but just slather it on and don’t try to rub it all in and like the previous post sleep wearing gloves or an old pair of socks on your hands. Great way to do your feet as well.

My doctor told me to use eucarin (cvs/walgreens) and it’s been working great, my hands were cracking and bleeding and it really helped…

FIRST AND FORMOST I THINK YOU SHOULD BUY DAWN HAND RENEWEL. YEA ITS SOAP YOU NORMALLY WASH DISHES WITH BUT I USE IT FOR BOTH. AND CONSIDERING I HAVE OCD, WHICH MEANS I WASH MY HANDS FOR EVERY LITTLE THING. I’VE WENT THROUGH SO MANY DIFFERENT SOAPS AND THATS THE PERFECT SOAP, WELL IN MY OPINION, BUT I THINK ITS WORTH A TRY. MY HANDS ARE NEVER DRY AND DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT LOTION. WITH OTHER SOAPS LIKE AJAX AND REGULAR DAWN I WOULD NEED LOTION. AND FOR LOTIONS I RECCOMEND GOLD BOND LOTION, ITS ALSO KNOW THAT NURSES USE IT TOO DUE TO a lot OF HAND WASHING. BACK IN THE DAY BEFORE THE DAWN HAND RENEWAL I WOULD HAVE TO USE GOLD BOND CAUSE THE OTHER SOAPS WOULD MAKE MY SKIN SO DRY AND CAUSE CRAKING AND BLEEDING AND IT TOOK CARE OF ALL THAT. AND BESIDES THAT WITH JUST TYPICAL DRY HANDS IT REALLY MOISTURIZES, AND YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO PUT a lot ON AND FEEL RELIEF INSTANTLY. MY OPINION THOSE 2 PRODUCTS WILL GO HAND IN HAND.

I work outside in the sun with horses so I empathise with you about dry hands!

I have found the best product to rehydrate hands and skin to be Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula which you can get from here:
