Why do I have dreams every night about my uncle John who has been dead for a little over a month and a half?

Big life events tend to stick with you for a while, I’m sure you were affected by this in some way, likely negatively. After I got into a bad vehicle accident a few years ago, I too had dreams of it for months afterward. It’s normal and you will adjust to the change, I’m sorry for your loss.

You are probably dreaming about him simply beacuse you are still dealing and coming to terms with his death. Often our dreams are a way we sort through stuff and deal with things.

in some of my dreams we do talk like last night i had a dream that he took us out to eat and he told me to race my cuzzin which is his son in a easting contest its like super wierd though

Actually this is quite common, I too dream about your deceased Uncle John and can’t quite figure out why. Of course I am kidding and apologies if this is still a raw emotional time for you and those that loved Uncle John. If it is, then I suspect this is the reason for you dreaming often about him. You miss him and the brain is exploring this while you are asleep as you may be actively trying to keep you rmind off him during the waking hours.

If the dreams are spooking you out, have no fear they will end within a few months. And if you still want to reminisce and enjoy the good memories once the dreams end, simply begin thinking about hime while you are awake.

wow did you have a contest of some sort before. I think he wants you to take care of his children and telling you to be close to them and always have memories of past experiences and precious times you have had together and missed you guys very much.

when my uncle passed away about 9 years ago. I saw that he passed away before he even did and i saw my dad go back to cyprus to be with him. He suffered from lung cancer and it was very hard seeing him in pain and loss of hair loss of appetite breathing problems and his legs was swolen. My grandad had a similar problem he had cancer as well that spread in his body. I t was a hard process to go through i suffered depression and vivid dreams after they passed away it was both emotional and very hard. Sometimes you are really sensitive to what happens some people take very long time to heal some heal faster.
