If it is already growing in your skin there is nit much you can do, either regularly maintain it by filing/clipping it or you have to remove the hole nail and wait for it to grow back
You're supposed to cut it straight across, and never curved. It sounds like it should be the opposite but apparently if it's curved, you can get an ingrown toenail eventually.
Oh and you need to make sure you don't keep your nails long, as when wearing closed shoes, the front of the shoe may force ur nail to dig into ur skin to make space..
Yeah, you have to cut it square shaped and not curved. Also don't cut it too short. That really helps preventing ingrown nails.
Just be careful and don't cut it too short. That's all there is to it.
