What is the coolest you thing think about your heritage?

OK, so I am filipino. Lots of pride for other filipinos. and well i see too much of it. im kinda curious of everybody elses cultures.

Hi :) First of all, cool question! it makes you think :D Anyway’s,, hmm…. Well I’m Irish. Idk why but the green of ireland and it’s culture have always seemed to have a certain charm to me :) have you ever seen a celtic knot? they’re pretty X) Ireland has alway’s reminded me of a fairyland for some reason, i’ve never been there though, lol. Hmm, also i’m jewish. I know there’s been a lot of jokes about being jewish, but i really don’t see why =( racial jokes make no sense to me =/ Anyway’s i kinda think it’s cool becuase it makes me feel a bit closer to jesus, cuz, u know how he was jewish and all? lol, not the it does, but it’s cool to know you can trace history so far back :D I’m russian too, and idk why but the fox movie “anastasia” has always made me be happy about that XD

Hey irish girl! im catholic so i have a lot of irish friends. do you knowif your irsh fam was catholic or protestant? and me being catholic means that i think jewish peeps are cool cuz with out the jewish religion christianity would never have happend. so its kool that you could be related to jesus! and russia just kicks a lot of as$.

lol! why thank you XD well the irish side of my family was catholic. but that ended with my grandparents. religion is so confusing these days =/ honestly i don’t know who’s right anymore, cuz my own parents don’t even share the same ideas! I guess, honestly i think that none of them have it down PERFECTLY. and i don’t think they ever will. cuz it wouldn’t make sense right? cuz it can’t be perfect. that’s not how earth is. So maybe… they all jus have a bit right and a bit wrong.. lol, sorry for ranting. just thinking out loud i guess (:

im kind of an odd mix…im scottish and brittish and canadian on my moms side and french and brittish and canadian on my dads side :P my uncle was tracing back our scottish history and found out that our clan (McLeod) shut another clan in a cave and killed them all and then we were sent to brittan for a while (so im guessing this explains how im michivious and always getting myself into trouble…it runs in the family) and also my early scottish relatives were vikings :P and i have no clue of the history of my dads side other than all along they have been very wealthy

I have a pretty mixed background - english, irish, welsh, french and maori mostly. I like that I am part NZ Maori. Its a very interesting culture and the language is beautiful.

Well over all I’m a bloody mutt. I don’t think I have a single nationality over an 1/8th in me, most are more like a 1/16th :P. But I do have some blood in me that is more or less Norse / Germanic tribes area. Always been fascinated by Norse mythology even before I found out about any of my heritage, so I found that really cool

My brothers a football player and his team performs the haka before their game. Such a warrior culture for the men. It is great. :)

I dont suppose you have ever seen a rugby game with New Zealand and another Pacific Island country? Its pretty cool, because they will often respond to the haka with their countries version. The Tongan team, for example will sometimes respond with the Sipi Tau

I’m Afrikaans, my mothers side of the family is from Irish decent and my fathers from German decent. I’ve never really given my heritage much of a thought.

I think it’s really cool that my of the food(not fast food) WE eat in America came from West Africa. My ancestors trace back to west Africa and I have family in Trinidad!!! I went to a Trinidad Carnival this summer(2010) And here’s a photo of my Aunt,She so pretty!!!!! :] <33333 I love my heritage!
