  once its there you CANT get rid of it and will need to wait around 2 weeks for the area to heal itself but if your quick you can stop the bruise from actually showing up pharmacys have a few special creams that when applied to the area can stop the bruise from showing up you will still have a bruise but none of the borwn/purple colour will be there

  there is a cream called hirradoid cream (not sure of the spelling) it brings the colour of the bruise out and then it goes away faster. use it all the time :) us clutz's have to stick together lol :)

  Bruises are blood which has collected beneath the surface of the skin...the time it takes to get rid of them is dependent on how fast your particular body absorbs it.
