going into heat at 6 mons. of age is not saying that your pup is old enough to breed...she's still a baby...to me in my opinion, it's kinda like saying to a daughter...".just because your on your time of the month that's it's ok to have sex...No ! Anywhere from 6 mos on. I have Boxers and I have had one female come in at 8 mos and one almost a year old. I have a Boston that never had her first heat until 2 1/2 years old.

six months. But do you know that it's kinda risky? You might want to wait if she's young b/c you could loose her and then the puppies. So just be sure you want to do this.If she's older and you have homes for the pups better : )
That's WAY to young, if you're thinking of breeding...She should be 2 years old before breeding.

Mine is aprox. 8mos old this week and she is just now starting to go into heat...some breaders recommend waiting until the 2nd heat cycle.
