Why do blessings always have to be in disguise?

I thought it was supposed to be because ur not supposed to be able to see the blessing, I cud be wrong cuz I don’t know for sure

Most blessings are not in disguise, though the expression “a blessing in disguise” is used when a piece of bad luck or news results in some happy and usually unexpected side effect.
. An example would be if you were injured and went to the hospital, then they found something else wrong (that you didn’t even know about) at the same time that they then cured easily, but it would have got much worse if they hadn’t found it so soon. ….. . ….. The injury would be a “blessing in disguise”. . On the other hand obvious blessings like finding your perfect partner or getting the ideal job that you wanted are not blessings in disguise, they are just blessings, as indeed is the formal blessing that a Priest or other Minister proclaims typically at the end of a religious service e.g. “Go in peace to love and serve the Lord” .

No… A lot of blessings could be seen. A lot more couldn’t be seen.

We just fail to realize that it’s a blessing because we sort of rant about something else.

And blessings in disguise are way sweeter. =)
