Do birth control pills really help breast growth?

does birth control really make breast grow??

Answer #1

it’s understandable that some pills work for others and some do not, but which pills exactly were you ladies talking about that will help in growth to the “D’s” and such? there are such a variety and despite what I really need the pills for… knowing that the “larger” breasts come along with it, would really make a great bonus! :)

Answer #2

what was the birth control pill that you first started that didn’t make your boobs grow with an 11 day period? Because I am already a 38DD and I definitely don’t want an increase in that area… that is basically the only thing keeping me from going on them… and gaining weight, and having hormones in your body… I am just so confused… I just became sexually active and I want the best options for me..

Answer #3

Doubt it. Makes you gain weight which I guess could make your boobs grow a bit but not only your boobs, your belly too. Worth it?… Probley not.

Answer #4

a lot of people say this too! But Birthcontrol will only mess your insides up, if using it for the wrong reasons, so dont be silly your still very young

I started one low estrogen birth control pill about six months ago and had no breast growth, but I didn’t like the brand (it made my period eleven days long) so I switched to another low estrogen pill. I went from a 34B to a 34DD within a VERY short period of time. The weird thing was, my scale showed absolutely no weight gain. That’s my two cents.

Answer #6

My answer is yes it can, it depends on the person and the type of pill though (how much estrogen it has, etc.). As for me, I started birth control a few months ago, and I went up at least a whole cup size. Also, I don’t think I’ve had any other weight gain anywhere else, but if I did, it’s not noticeable. But I’m also an athlete, so I’m working out daily.

For other examples, one of my friends started birth control last year, and her breasts did grow, but another friend started it and she didn’t grow. So I don’t know all the specifics, I do know that everyone who flat out says the pill cannot increase breast size is wrong.

Answer #7

all depends on your body and what brand/type of birth control you use.

I am currently on Levlor, which I believe is the generic version of Seasonale. I have gone from a 34Bish to about a 34Dish in a matter of 3 months. I have not had any other serious weight gain besides about 3 or 4 pounds, which I completely expected and am okay with. I have a large frame, so it’s not noticeable at all. I’m also very muscular and since it’s getting warmer outside, I’ve been riding my bike a lot lately, and it could be new muscle. Who cares?

But, yes, my two cents is that I am definitely a person who experienced breast growth. I’m happy with my new boobs and I didn’t even have to buy them! LOL

But honestly, I’m also 30 years old and have been on birth control for years now. Please don’t seek out birth control if you are not sexually active or do not have a condition that would benefit from the use of an oral contraceptive. There are just way too many risks such as blood clots, heart conditions and even death to be risking an extra cup size.

There are several pectoral exercises you can do that will increase the width of your chest to appear to have a fuller bra, but unfortunately, nothing you can do will actually increase your cup size.

You’re still growing, and there are tons of life events that could change your body in the years to come. Don’t sweat it. Besides, if someone is judging you for your boobs, then who needs em?

Birth control pills will not make your breasts bigger. I’m not sure who gave birth to this urban legend, but let me be the one to finally lay it to rest. According to researchers, the birth control pill does not cause weight gain.

An article from BioEd Online explains this is simply an unfortunate and completely groundless rumor. Led by David Grimes of Family Health International, researchers examined the results of 44 studies and found “no evidence that beginning to use the pill leads to any jump in weight gain.”

Still, there are those who believe the pill may cause increased water retention as well as a bigger appetite. Grimes says these long-standing beliefs are simply not true. And while the pill isn’t for everyone and doesn’t prevent sexually transmitted diseases, it is 99.7% effective in preventing pregnancy when used correctly.

So if you’re sexually active and not looking to become a parent, talk to your doctor about birth control options. If you don’t use protection, you may be putting on a heckuva lot more weight during the next nine months or so.

seriously?!?! which one!

Answer #11

Which brands of pill were you using when your breasts grew - there are so many!?

Answer #12

It depends on the person. Some people gain weight on the pill. Some people don’t. So people’s breasts do indeed get larger. Or in my case, fuller. I’ve been on the pill month and a week and half. And my breasts, even though I was already a 34D, have gotten significantly fuller. My sister noticed, and ex noticed, my friends noticed. I noticed. They’re also been tender since they started to fill out.

It will does depend on the person. I’m on Yaz. Also. I’ve gained no weight. My weight stays about the same number. And it’s still the same, and I haven’t changed my diet.

And to the person above it is not an “urban legend”. Don’t read articles. Talk to doctors directly. Mine told me she gained 20lbs on hers. My mother never gained weight on it however. I think it depends on the person.

Answer #13

yes it can, it depends on how your body is though

Answer #14

Birth control causes girls to put on weight which adds to your breast area naturally. You’ll lose it as soon as you get off of the pills and the person who says birth control pills mess up your insides is an idiot. Thats completely false!
