Should I take the AP class?

for my freshman year im going to be taking AP Human Geography. The reason for this is because I want to become valedictorian my senior year. At the same time, though, I really want to take chorus. I dont know what to do.

Yes you should take any advance class you get the opprunity to take. This will help you get choices of high paying jobs

And I dont have the answer to this question. All I know is that I regret not taking certain classes through my bachelor’s because I was trying to preserve my GPA. Figure out if you can take AP classes later on to make up for it. Talk to your academic advisor about this.

I would take the AP class. If you cannot fit chorus in your schedule and it is the singing in a group that you really want to do you can look into joing a community chorus which practice in evenings or join a church choir. If you do not belong to a church spend a few sundays attending mass at different churches and see which church suits you best. These are community activities and should be listed on your college applications.
